Terms of Use
These Terms set out the conditions for using the iOS app “momblock,” provided by the momblock operator.
1. Application
Users may use momblock after agreeing to these Terms and Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. If there is any conflict between them, applicable law and the agreement with Apple prevail.
2. Service Description
momblock is an app that helps users refrain from accessing specified apps and websites by using iOS Screen Time-related features, on-device notifications and records, and registered photos and messages.
It does not provide medical care, diagnosis, treatment, counseling, or emergency assistance. It also does not guarantee that all access can be completely blocked, due to factors including the OS, browser, device settings, and changes to Apple’s specifications.
3. momblock Plus
Plus is an auto-renewing subscription offered through the App Store. There is no free trial.

The price, currency, taxes, and availability shown on the App Store purchase screen take precedence.
Plus provides the features displayed on the in-app purchase screen, including fully customizable notification times, up to five notifications per day, custom messages, additional people, detailed records, unlimited app-specific blocking, custom blocked domains, and a stricter unblocking flow (unblocking 24 hours after a request). Community is not currently available.
4. Purchase, Renewal, and Cancellation
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when the purchase is confirmed.
- The subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- To cancel or manage the subscription, open “Settings” on your iPhone and go to “Subscriptions” for your Apple Account.
- Deleting the app does not automatically cancel the subscription.
- You can verify previously purchased access by selecting “Restore Purchases” in the app.
5. Refunds
Apple processes App Store purchases, billing, and refunds. To request a refund, use Apple’s Report a Problem page.
6. Prohibited Conduct
- Using the app in violation of laws, regulations, or public order and morals
- Unauthorized access to or interference with the app, support site, or related systems
- Reverse engineering or other analysis not permitted by applicable law or license
- Using the app in a way that infringes the rights or privacy of any third party
- Harassing the support contact, making false reports, or sending unnecessary confidential information such as payment details
7. Data
The handling of in-app data is described in the Privacy Policy. Users are responsible for taking any necessary device-management measures in preparation for device failure, device replacement, app deletion, or similar events.
8. Changes, Suspension, and Discontinuation
We may change or temporarily suspend the app to ensure safety, comply with laws and regulations, respond to changes in Apple’s specifications, perform maintenance, or for similar reasons. If paid features are discontinued, we will respond with due consideration for existing subscription periods, applicable law, and Apple’s procedures.
9. Disclaimer and Scope of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the momblock operator does not guarantee that the app will always be available, that specific results will be achieved, or that every selected app or website will be blocked. These Terms do not limit any user rights under Japan’s Consumer Contract Act or other mandatory laws.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may change these Terms when reasonably necessary. Material changes will be announced in the app or on this site.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. If a dispute arises, the parties will first discuss it in good faith. If it cannot be resolved, the court with jurisdiction will be determined in accordance with applicable law.
